The scope of this workshop is to give insight into today’s measurement and modelling capabilities of ocean surface waves. Measurements will include traditional sensors such as wave buoys as well as new techniques based on radars. Numerical modeling will focus on wave hind- and forecast with some applications to offshore wind farming. Last but not least we will round up the workshop with discussions on current needs, demands, and future developments.
