The inter-agency website www.deutsche-flagge.de is launched and offers all important information concerning the German Flag at one glance.
The website www.deutsche-flagge.de went live in April 2013 in conjunction with the 8th National Maritime Conference in Kiel. Deutsche-flagge.de is the central website of the German flag state administration. This web portal brings together information from various government agencies. Shipping companies and seafarers can now find all the necessary information at one glance, such as administrative contacts, all application forms, and an interactive certificate guide.
The topics covered on www.deutsche-flagge.de range from crew and training to social security, safety at sea, and environmental protection, as well as maritime medicine and financial matters.
