Throughout the development of this website, user-friendliness and accessibility were our focus. We conducted a self-test on our website to verify its accessibility. The website is currently not fully accessible due to the following exceptions:

Non-accessible contents

Currently, you will find non-accessible contents in the following areas:

PDF documents for download

We are currently working on a procedure to create PDF documents that are accessible or at least only have few barriers. Following this, new PDF documents will be accessible. This process will take some more time. A subsequent adaptation of existing documents is not intended.

Do you require a particular PDF document from our website in an accessible format? Please contact us via barrierefrei@deutsche-flagge.de or the postal address given below. Please state in which format you need the file and to which e-mail or postal address we may send it.

PDF forms for download

In the future, we would like to provide for you our PDF application forms in an accessible format online. The implementation will take a while longer.
The electronic forms are already accessible to a certain degree.

Do you require a particular PDF application form from our website in an accessible format? Please contact us via barrierefrei@deutsche-flagge.de or the postal address given below. Please state in which format you need the form and to which e-mail or postal address we may send it.

Arbitration procedure

You are of the opinion that

  • you did not receive a satisfactory response from the contact options above or
  • you are at a disadvantage because deutsche-flagge.de is not designed in a sufficiently accessible way?

In this case, you can apply for the initiation of an arbitration procedure at the Federal Arbitration Service in accordance with the Federal "Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz (BGG)" section 16. The application form as well as further information on the procedure are given on the website of the Federal Arbitration Service.

It is the task of the Arbitration Service to solve disputes between people with disabilities and public authorities of the Federal Government, especially with regard to accessibility, outside of the courts. The arbitration procedure is free of charge; you do not require legal assistance.

The contact details of the Arbitration Service are:
