We invite you to the BSH’s 2026 Annual Press Conference.
The 2026 Annual Press Conference will provide information on current developments, new projects, and key results of the work carried out by the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH). A key focus will be the energy transition at sea. Topics include:
- Expansion of offshore wind energy
- Marine environmental monitoring
- Maritime safety and security
- Demonstration of targeted manipulation of navigation data
- Technological advancements in hydrographic surveys, a notable shipwreck discovery, and current developments in digital navigational charts
After the annual press conference, there will be an opportunity for questions, interviews, and photo and video coverage in the Systems Laboratory. Please notify us in advance if you wish to conduct longer interviews, hold background discussions, or take photos or video in the Systems Laboratory.
Participation and Accreditation:
Participation in the press conference is reserved exclusively for accredited media representatives.
This includes individuals who work as journalists either full-time or part-time and report for an editorial medium.
To obtain accreditation, please send your name, media outlet, and position, as well as proof of your journalistic activity (e.g., a link to recent publications or a press pass) to presse@bsh.de.
