Flag State Guidance

The conventions and codes applicable for maritime shipping leave room for clear specification by the Flag State as to the practical implementation of these international instruments. In the text itself, this is often expressed with wording such as "to the satisfaction of the Administration". In the following, you find our implementation guidance for sea-going ships flying the German Flag regarding the individual conventions and codes by the IMO. The lists will be continually added to and updated.
